Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince

HARRY POTTER FEVER has now hit the Kung household. Or just my room. I am excited. In preparation, I have rewatched the fifth movie and am in the process of rereading the sixth book. It’s exciting. I will, for the first time, be catching a midnight screening of the film with Joyce and Alison. This is the only book series in which I follow the movies religiously as well. The buzz for the sixth movie is really growing and I hear it’s the best one yet! The 7th book will be made into two moves: Part 1 and Part 2 (titles tentative). I really like Emma Watson who plays Hermione. Here she is in her interview with David Letterman (sleaze) on July 8th. She’s very funny, very sassy. Too bad she had to go all ivy league (poor Wes).

Let the hormones rage in the sixth film.

Ryan Reynolds Part II

Ryan Reynolds has struck heart again! I just watched Adventureland. Eh, I like Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist much better but it was still cute. I don’t know if those two movies are comparable but NNIF was much sweeter and seemed to have more heart. However, Ryan Reynolds is in Adventure and that gives it about 100 more points. He is so smokin.

Ryan Reynolds will also appear in X-Men Origins: Wolverine coming out this summer. Be excited and check out his guns (far left). Taylor Kitsch of Friday Night Lights (my new tv obsession) is also in it (the dude with the long hair).

I have so much to do this weekend. Ohmygood…WHEN WILL THIS END?

Gossip Girl Still Got It!

OMFG

I’ve been catching up on the 2nd season of Gossip Girl and I tell you, it’s better than ever. The cast is featured on the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine.

Oh yeah, and the cast is still as beautiful as ever.

F4

F4 stands for ‘Flower 4′ and they’re based on a Japanese manga called “Hana Yori Dango.” Three East Asian countries, Taiwan, Japan and S. Korea have all produced their own versions of the manga. The manga is about a plain, poor but strong-minded girl who is thrust into the world of wealth when she meets F4, who are the most handsome and wealthy boys in school. She pisses off the leader of the group and is issued a red card from F4 which promises her a life of hell in school. The Taiwan version came out first followed by Japan and now, Korea.

The Korean version of “Hana Yori Dango” premiered last week. On a scale, they’re definitely the best looking F4 to date! However, I love the Japanese version the best, so far.

Keri Russell

I have the biggest girl crush on Keri Russell (and Natalie Portman but that will be another post). Felicity was one of my favorite shows! I’m always scoping out reruns of it now.

Keri will be in the new Adam Sandler movie, Bedtime Stories.

Keri on Conan O’ Brien. She’s so funny.
